Long Road Original Rum is made from 100% black strap molasses and a unique yeast strain to produce a delightfully rich, funky rum, reminiscent of the Caribbean rums that inspired it.

Enjoy this new standard in a classic daiquiri, or in one of our favorites, the Jungle Bird!

Process & Techniques:

  • Fermented and distilled from 100% black strap molasses
  • Proofed to bottle strength with purified, Michigan water
  • Non-chill filtered
  • Not treated with any carbon or charcoal filtration techniques

Tasting Notes:

  • Banana, pear and other tropical esters on the nose
  • Tropical fruit up front, with a pop of dark molasses at first taste
  • Rich, slightly sweet, finish

Cocktail Recipe

FT. LONG ROAD ORIGINAL RUM

Ingredients needed: 1 ½ oz Rum, 1 ½ oz pineapple juice, 3/4 oz Campari, ½ oz lime, ½ oz simple syrup

  1. Shake ingredients with ice.
  2. Strain into rocks glass.
  3. Top with ice or large cube.
  4. Enjoy!
