Long Road Grand Absinthe is a mysterious classic with a modern twist. The long-illicit spirit category is known for the inclusion of wormwood infusion and bold flavors of black licorice. Grand Absinthe does not disappoint, with an abundance of licorice root, star anise and fennel seed, balanced with our own take on the classic style that includes peppermint, hyssop and lapsang souchong smoked Chinese tea.
Enjoy Long Road Grand Absinthe in a classic absinthe drip – with or without the ice cube, or in your favorite cocktail. At 125 proof, it holds up nicely in a Sazerac or Corpse Reviver No. 2.
Process & Techniques:
- Base spirit is milled from whole grain and fermented on-site
- Infused with a variety of herbs, spices and botanicals including wormwood, fennel seed, star anise, chicory, and lapsang souchong tea prior to redistillation.
- Infused post-distillation with peppermint leaf, sage, hyssop, licorice root and more.
- Non-chill filtered
- Not treated with any carbon or charcoal filtration techniques
